At Massey Kindergarten, we believe that tamariki are independent and capable learners. Our dedicated teachers work closely with whānau to uphold our philosophy of Enviroschool and a child-led programme. We provide a creative and inviting learning environment that is full of opportunities for exploration and growth.

Kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We foster an environment where children are encouraged to treat each other with kindness and learn to solve conflicts peacefully. Our teachers focus on developing strong relationships and nurturing social competence in our tamariki.

We have a strong partnership with Massey Primary School, ensuring a smooth transition for our tamariki into the next phase of their education. Weekly school visits are organized to familiarize them with the school environment and ease their transition.

Our teachers are skilled in promoting and supporting the development of children's oral language skills. They recognize that each child learns and develops at their own pace, and they tailor their approach accordingly.

To accommodate busy schedules, our kindergarten operates from Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 3.30pm. Our office is open from 8am to 4.45pm on weekdays. Please note that we are closed during term breaks and public holidays.
