"Free BBQ plate, great! The public BBQ in Cairns was introduced in "Chikyu no Arukikata" and I really wanted to try it. First, we went to Woolworths supermarket to procure kangaroo meat (minimum 400g), sausage, bread, paprika, zucchini, mushrooms, etc. (From Japan, we brought a BBQ set with small oil, aluminum, paper plates, etc.). When I grilled it on the free BBQ plate and ate it, I could really feel the taste of the ingredients and it was really delicious! Kangaroo meat, which I tried for the first time, was lightly seasoned with salt and pepper to enjoy the original taste of the meat. If you eat this much at a restaurant, it will cost about $100 for two people, but you can use the BBQ plate for free, and the total is about 3000 yen, which is very satisfying. Blessed with good weather and a clean environment, it was a very good memory. The detailed usage of the BBQ plate is omitted, but it is recommended when traveling to Cairns!"
"It's free"
"Great park on the far side of Cairns Lagoon. Can watch helicopters land and take off. Barbecue facilities and plenty of paid parking nearby."
"Love the location. Plenty of atmosphere."
"A huge park, overlooking the sea. You buy the meat, choose your barbecue and enjoy a picnic in the open air in the middle of the city. Everything very clean and taken care of. A highly recommended experience!"
