"Would not have expected this little town to have a pub/hotel like this. The aesthetic is lovely. The service was fantastic. And then there is the food. OMG. This chef cannot be from a country town….. being from Melbourne we did not expect this level of perfection. I was blown away by the quality. Everything, from the crumbing to all of the condiments are made in house. Lovely presentation and amazing taste. Cannot recommend this little pub enough. If your ever in this town, stop for a meal."
"The food was excellent, we got the chicken burger and the steak sandwich. The portion sizes were quite large for the price, neither of us ended up finishing but we were able to get a takeaway box so we could enjoy it later. All of the staff were so lovely, specifically the waiter on our way in, I didn't catch his name but he was so helpful and gave us some menu recommendations and we had a lovely chat with him. Overall our entire time here was amazing and we will come again when we are in the area."
"Will always have a pub lunch when out camping at Somerset and as always we went to the Exchange around the corner as The Stanley bistro isn’t open on Tuesdays. The exchange quality has gone downhill and was horrible. So we tried the Stanno on Saturday. AMAZING! Great food, exceptional prices, good sized meals! Definitely will be back!"
