"The pizza here defeated us for the first time but that didn't stop us from going in for Round 2 when we came back through. It's a great spot to have dinner if you're going along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, and like most of the pubs along here, really feels like a reward. It's close to everything else in town and has a lovely aesthetic and a warm atmosphere. Service matched that atmosphere and food was timely for a busy pub. Beer was great and the bubblegum vodka slushy we had was fun. The garlic & cheese and vegetarian pizzas were amazing. The garlic & cheese pizza tastes like an overabundance of the best parts of garlic cheesy bread and it was awesome as a pizza."

"Amazing place, great atmosphere, staff and management were extremely helpful when we visited tonight! Cassie, Reece, Whyley, Paige and Cristy went above and beyond with our service could not be happier! And the food was outstanding! Kitchen staff made amazing meals, huge portions and great prices! We loved the lamb shanks and chicken wings a lot! Recommending to all out friends and family and will be back soon!"

"Wonderful place to go for lunch, dinner basically any time. I went with a friend and shared our table with another family and we all enjoyed the experience together. Food was plentiful and of the highest quality. Service was fantastic and the staff make the night thoroughly enjoyable. Pricing is affordable and won't break your budget. Get there Saturday night's and support your local clubs and associations by buying raffle tickets in the Meat tray. Thanks to Lowoods local butcher. Thank you for a great night."

"We stayed at the motel during our Rail Trail ride. No fuss rooms. Clean and air conditioned. They don’t have a locked bike shed so we had to bring the bikes into our room. It was a bit cramped as we were a triple sharing room and had three bikes in there with us. Beds were basic but not exactly comfortable ones. The highlight of the room was the shower! It was amazing with the strong water pressure. It felt like I was standing under a waterfall. Amazing feeling after a long arduous ride as it melts all those tired muscles away. The pub looks good. Food came in gigantic portions and is good value for money. Two of us shared a pizza and we still could not finish it and had a couple of slices for breakfast the next day."
