“An absolute delight! I had excellent avo on toast with perfectly poached eggs and a side of delicious tasty bacon. Everything seasoned and flavoured beautifully, not over done and not bland. “The food and service at cafe Apre on Oxley Avenue in woody point is the best on the Redcliffe peninsula. I eat there all the time and it’s always top quality and very reasonably priced. Great place with awesome menu options”

“these guys serve up one bitchin' yoghurt and granola cup. almost 10 bucks might seem steep but that lil hunk of goodness aint playing. worth it. iced oat latte had a strong coffee taste and my tastebuds are rather weak. sill enjoyed it though! service was rlly nice too. cafe has a cute vibe with plenty of sunshine and tunes that would be much more enjoyable without depression (mine, not theirs). they also sell some adorable succulents. i wanna buy one but im worred i'll kill it and never forgive myself. 10/10 would recommend”

“Colossal has a strong "local" feeling. The staff are always happy to make individual adjustments to food on the menu to make sure that everyone is catered for. Delicious coffee and chai latte. Love the grilled vegetable rolls.”

“Had an appointment nearby and was looking for somewhere for lunch. We chose this place for it's quirky name. What an undiscovered TREASURE. There is a range of seating options available for individuals to groups of ten, set in a beautiful garden. This is a family business and the service was very friendly and helpful. There is not a large menu, but making a choice is still difficult. Delicious and different. There is also a great selection of desserts in the cabinet. The food that was presented was plentiful and beautifully arranged. Delicious flavours and quality ingredients. A new favourite eatery when in the area.”

“Cold and busy day, I was craving a Laksa. Googled Laska near me and Bay Breeze Cafe popped up. It had great reviews for their Laksa so we headed straight there. Unfortunately, we didn't realise they only do Laksa on certain days. Some of the Malaysian dishes are on rotation so only available, when available. Since we were there, I ordered the Nasi Lemak and hubby Singapore noodles, takeaway. My Nasi Lemak was THE BEST I have ever eaten. The chicken curry was so incredible, my belly is full of warm and beautiful food. Even the rice was great! I can't wait to go back to try the Laksa (usually available Fridays and Saturdays).”

“A wonderful cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. They had heaters on outdoors so it was very comfortable. I ordered the breakfast burger, it was very tasty and hearty. Coffee was good, they also had a decent selection of smoothies and cold drinks. The almond croissant I had as a dessert was also amazing, one of the best I’ve had recently.”

“Lovely service, quite large servings so come hungry. The build your own breakfast is great, you get to choose three sides so everyone can get something different if they want. The chai latte and hot chocolates are amazing. They are very accomodating if you would like to change an item too. Never had a bad meal or drink here. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a great feed or drink for a reasonable price.”

“Second time visiting this cafe, have loved both meals, the coffee was excellent, very friendly staff. A point of particular note, the eggs Benedict bread did not require a chainsaw and was delicious. Highly recommend!”
