"Appointment for my grandad at 9:15, we arrived before 9am as advised and still had not been seen by 10:15 asked the receptionist who said “they’re just behind, you’re next in line” 10:45 still haven’t been seen. Ask the receptionist again who says “yeah they’re just behind” request to speak to someone else says they’ll follow it up, I go and find her 20 minutes later for her to say she forgot… finally see a doctor after 2 hours in the waiting room who says “you were accidentally put in the Telehealth queue, you should have asked someone” so the lovely receptionist we asked for assistance multiple times who was too busy chatting with her friends and trying to get Coldplay tickets, completely wasted an elderly, unwell patients time and was obviously too incompetent to do her own job. doctor was fantastic as was the nurse."
"Waited 2 hours past appointment time then nurse said I needed an x ray and I asked why didn’t you do this earlier like all the others had been done. She said the slip request was in the wrong place and wasn’t her fault. The whole two hours had to listen to a constant stream of private talk of the reception staff between themselves and I now I know why the phone never gets answered when you ring. Why do the staff think it is ok to treat you so badly and worse than humane. Rude staff and really if they didn’t work there they would be unemployable as I would never emplor any of them."
"I totally get that it’s free but three hours waiting??? Appointment at 12pm. Waited two and a half hours to be seen for ten mins. Then sent to get an ex ray and wait time was another 45 mins. There must be a better way. Surely the well-being of injured patients should be taken into account. Surely they have a duty of care especially to the elderly. I can’t believe you even have to make an appointment it’s ludicrous. It seems that the wealthy who can afford private cover for these things are more important than hard working low paid people. There has to be a better way!!!"
"It's Public Health, FREE to people with Medicare cards. There's a big sign stating a 2 or 3 hour wait from your appointment time. There's 5 clinics operating from the 1 waiting room. Bring snacks and fully charged phone. Be prepared for a long wait."
"Normally I would accompany my daughter who has breast cancer to all appointments. Today however I was refused to go with her. I'm also her carer. Yet another lady who had appointment same doctor was allowed to have her mum with her ! Not impressed Appointment tine was 9am. My daughter didn't go in til 10am . 3 hr wait in a cold waiting room."
