"Absolutely do not buy from this store. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced and looking through the Google reviews, apparently I am not alone. If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a lounge from the Fortitude Valley store. Prior to purchasing, I measured the access (lifts, doors, hallways) as well as the space in my home using the product measurements available on their website (length, width and depth). When I placed the order, the staff could not have shown less interest if they tried. When I asked if they could tell me whether there had been any previous delivery issues with the building I lived in the manager told me if there was an issue it was my problem because "she would have warned me when I ordered it" (she didn't) and there was nothing they could do about it now anyway because the purchase was non-refundable. So I went back to the showroom and took my own measurements from the sample on the floor to confirm the fit. After waiting almost 5 months for the lounge to arrive, the lounge wouldn't fit and had to be returned to the warehouse. The information the delivery company gave me in the first two minutes was far more helpful, accurate and informative - they gave me the correct measurements required to ensure access (not available online and not advised by the store) and explained the minimum lift height/door width etc. Had the store told me the information the delivery company did, I would never have purchased this lounge. I contacted the store immediately to request a refund or store credit - both were refused, notwithstanding the lounge is still in their warehouse in perfect condition. The best part is that if I had cancelled the order prior to delivery, all I would have lost is the 30% deposit. I now have a $2000 lounge I can't use and they have the gall to say I can pay for delivery to another location or pay for storage at the warehouse. I have since been to multiple other furniture stores (Freedom, Lounge Lovers etc) who have been wonderfully helpful - specifically provided access information and measurements and provide full refunds on return if the pieces don't fit. I will never shop at Oz Design again. Such a waste of time, effort and money."

"If I could give less than 1 star I would. I don't recommend this company at all. Delay after delay, excuse after excuse. 7 month to complete an order and I haven't got it all yet, so who knows how many more delays and excuse would come. I cancelled the balance of my order. They need to get better import / inventory managers if you ask me. Import delay excuses only goes so far. If plenty of other importers including my own company can get it right in the times, why cant they."

"I really enjoyed shopping in this lovely store. I particularly loved their extensive range of artwork. The staff were friendly and the store is laid out and styled beautifully, with some lovely vignettes. They have loads of interesting products to browse through. I liked the fact that many of their products do not look exactly like Freedom Furniture, although they are similar in contemporary style and design. The sales staff greeted me when I walked past and allowed me to shop in peace, which is great! Car parking is available in the basement, entry via Wickham St, which is one way or Montpelier St which is two way. I can highly recommend spending quality time, checking out all the great stores in this boutique Homemaker Mall."
