RSPCA Black Cat Café
About the Business
Welcome to RSPCA Black Cat Café, located at 139 Wacol Station Road in Wacol, Australia. Our café is not just your ordinary eatery, but a unique establishment that combines delicious food with the opportunity to interact with adorable furry friends. As an institution, we are proud to be classified as a cafe, establishment, food point of interest, restaurant, and store.
At RSPCA Black Cat Café, our mission is simple yet powerful: Together We Change Lives. We are a non-government, registered charity that heavily relies on the generosity of the community to fund 96% of our vital work. By supporting our café, you are directly contributing to the welfare and well-being of animals in need.
When you visit our café, you will be greeted by the heartwarming sight of our furry friends frolicking in their play pen. All the cats you see in the inside to outside viewing area are available for adoption. They have been desexed and health checked, ready to join their furever family. By observing them in a more natural environment, you can witness their unique purrsonalities and observe how they interact with each other.
Our menu offers a wide range of food and drinks, catering to various dietary preferences. We have grab and go options for those in a hurry, as well as dine-in choices for a more relaxed experience. Vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free alternatives are available. We take pride in using only humane food, ensuring that all eggs are free range and our meats are sourced from higher welfare farms. What's more, 100% of our café profits go towards helping animals in need.
If you have a special event or function coming up, we also offer external catering services for pick-up. Simply email us at [email protected] to request a copy of our catering menu and a catering request form.
For those interested in learning more about the history of cat domestication, we provide an information pack that can be downloaded from our website. You can also find a display board in the courtyard walkway during your next visit.
At RSPCA Black Cat Café, we believe in the importance of giving back. You can support our cause by making a monthly or single gift, helping us continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals every day.
None of our work would be possible without the dedication and support of our valued volunteers. They play a crucial role in helping us care for the many abused, abandoned, and injured animals that come into our care each year.
Our ultimate goal is to find safe and loving homes for all the animals in our care. We encourage you to take a look at the beautiful animals patiently waiting to find their forever homes.
Rest assured that we uphold the highest ethical standards. Your personal information will never be sold or traded to other charities or organizations. We make this promise to you.
Join us at RSPCA Black Cat Café and experience the joy of good food and the company of adorable feline companions. Together, let's change lives and make a difference for animals in need.

"At a Wildcare workshop on site but was able to pre-order lunch. Charming staff produced excellent Eggs Benedict on time, generous serving, perfectly poached eggs; perfect."
"I went to RSPCA at Wacol and discovered a hidden Black Cat Cafe. They have amazing coffee, and their menu offers many vegetarian and vegan options, which is great. The RSPCA helps all animals, big or small, with compassionate hearts. I hope soon they will offer a complete vegan menu experience to reflect this compassion for all animal friends. The cafe staff are friendly with a smile."
"Was served by Alyse, she was super friendly with the cutest smile, she also makes a great dirty chai. was a bonus ther there was a few cats lounging about to look at while enjoying my coffee. 10/10 recommend visiting"
"Couldn't imagine any better place to have breakfast, - it's just amazing having animals around, being around people that truly love and care for animals. The menu is fantastic, it has full breakfast options as well as quick bites. The coffee is beautiful, the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are passionate and caring. Very clean place, fast service and the opportunity to get a furry friend for yourself or become a foster carer for an animal. Even coffee for the dogs is! available Highly recommended!!!!"
"I took my children to make a donation to the animals, and we stopped in and had a bite to eat for lunch, serving of chips were quite large and really good as I have 2 fussy eaters. The pie and sausage roll were fantastic, the wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli were also really good. But the milkshakes were more than exceptional. They took me back to when I was a child and went to a local milk bar, I haven't been able to find anywhere who would come close. So if you're over here definitely order one of their milkshakes they are fantastic."
