"After going to an Exhibition nearby that was sadly lack lustre, we decided to eat here. The Chai latte was weak, the Vienna burger for the price, the beef patty should be fresher… it was a tad on the rank side and rubbery, chips were good and luckily I was not sick from it. I am told the scrambled eggs were really nice so a win there and thank you for accomodating the swap from tomato to avocado. I am also advised that the price increase was “fairly” recent. In future, keep the turnover of food fresh, specifically meat and seafoods. The atmosphere is lovely …. It’s the QVB Thank you"
"A lovely hideaway cafe with a relaxing and comfortable vibe. Prices are expensive eg coffee starts from $5.80. Friendly service but quite slow and not very attentive."
"Love this cafe! Great coffee, generous servings and friendly service. Of course a bit pricey but it's the ambience that sets it apart, as I love the location. I can eat at a cheaper cafe but it is just a sometimes place, lol . We're on holidays so why not? The crockery is great, we chose a not so busy time so you need to time your visit to avoid crowds. My pulled pork burger was very tasty, chips were crunchy, salad on the burger was fresh, English breakfast tea and soy milk were served in lovely tea set, no need to spend too much to have expensive morning or afternoon tea at the other tea room, lol..But if you prefer those little sweets and nibbles, go for them! My hub was tempted by the lemon meringue pie he saw at the display counter so we got in. All good, lots of other choices for those with sweet tooth. Come here even just once and enjoy the lovely quiet surrounds!"
"The tea and coffee are great and reasonably priced considering the location, however the scones were quite dry and the omelette was a little pricey considering the size. Overall I would recommend a visit for the drinks."
"Overpriced, sad quality food and poor customer service! We ordered the Sacher torte which was too sweet and you couldn't taste any apricot jam. We were excited to try a proper European style patisserie but were very disappointed. A slice of cake costs $18 which is an absolute rip off."
