Hurricane's Grill Circular Quay

"My visit to Hurricane Bar and Grill left me with mixed feelings. The service was impressive, with attentive staff creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, while the food was decent, it fell short of expectations. The menu showed promise, but the execution left something to be desired. Overall, a pleasant place for service, but the culinary experience could use improvement."

"Foods are nice, all the service crews are great! Big thank you to Shawn from Thailand, his service is excellent! Very friendly and attentive to customer. Everytime I look at him, he knows what I need without me telling, from placing order, getting water, tea spoon etc. Thanks Shawn for the great service. This is a wonderful closing for my trip in Australia as I'm leaving to airport after this meal."

"Great food and generous portion. But I was shocked with an experience how rude is one of the staffs there. Dark hair, lovely face looks like Japanese/Chinese but very rude attitude, not too tall. My parents and I sat in outside table area before the restaurant is open for dinner. First she slammed glasses to tables around us and then tell us we can’t sit there with very unfriendly manner. And when I answered okay we’d like to be seated inside anyway, she said: I know nothing about it you can ask reservation/ table booking maybe they have table for you. But now you need to leave this area. Like excuse me? Its not even open yet, she prepared tables I got it but she could have more friendly gesture than being super rude and grumpy. When the resto is opened, we are seated inside near the window, perfect spot, we only have 90mins but its enough for us. The waitresses inside are lovely. Too bad I can only give 3* because of the rude staff, she really needs some manner lesson."

"Had the "Baby" ribs, Wagyu Beef burger & Grilled Octopus. The ribs are great tasting, meat is tender & well seasoned. Burger and Octopus are good but not fantastic. Salads are fresh & crunchy. Ribs are highly recommended. Service crew are friendly & attentive. Dining area is bit too dim for comfort."

"I have been eating at Hurricanes for 25 years and can safely say it’s still just as good as it was back then! It was my first time visiting the Circular Quay restaurant and I found it a little bit hard to locate, but that may have been because of the vivid crowds. The restaurant is nice, staff are friendly and the service is very fast. I ordered the steak and pork rib combo and was not disappointed! The ribs are still as tender and succulent as they ever have been. The sauce is delicious and the meat just falls off the bone. The steak was cooked perfectly and was basted in that familiar steak basting sauce. I missed the complimentary bread they used to serve, but overall it was an amazing meal and I will continue to be a patron for the next 25 years if the doors remain open!"
