"It was beautiful all the staff were amazing and food was fantastic I am vegetarian and very hard to get pleased by food when it comes to vegetarian. Appetisers to main course just too good. My friend and his wife are regular there and this time we whole group went and we all enjoyed every bit of it."

"The food was tasty, not exquisite. I liked the squid just wish there was more on the plate! The views are amazing which is probably what you are paying high dollar for $ We ordered some interesting alcohol which even the waiters were unsure of when we asked what they would taste like!"

"Very good experience. We had a table on the terrace, they have heaters so even in colder weather it’s perfectly fine, and you have a lovely view of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Our waiter was Francesco, who was very helpful, and knew the dishes. We took some of his recommendations ok board, and he was absolutely right. The food quality was excellent, the portions were very generous, and very well composed flavours. Our favourite were the beef tartare, and the john dory. We had a few oysters, a starter, and a main with some side salad and potatoes, but unfortunately we didn’t have space for dessert. Overall it was a perfect dinner, and I can’t stress out enough how good Francesco’s service was."

"My recent visit to Cafe Sydney left me with mixed feelings. While the stunning views and location were undoubtedly impressive, I was somewhat disappointed by the overall dining experience. First and foremost, the restaurant's spectacular panoramic views of the Sydney Harbour and the iconic Opera House are undeniably breathtaking. It's a picture-perfect setting that sets high expectations for the rest of the experience. The ambiance is elegant, and the sleek decor adds a touch of sophistication to the space. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm waned as I dug into the food. While the dishes were aesthetically pleasing, they fell short in terms of flavor and execution. The flavors seemed uninspired and lacked the wow factor I was hoping for. The presentation was beautiful, but the taste didn't quite match up. Additionally, the service at times felt lackluster and inattentive. Despite making a reservation well in advance, we experienced delays in being seated and an overall lack of attentiveness from the waitstaff. It's a shame, as improved service could have elevated the overall experience. On a positive note, the beverage selection at Cafe Sydney was decent. They offered a variety of wines and cocktails, and I found the drink options to be satisfying. The drinks were well-prepared and provided a pleasant accompaniment to the otherwise mediocre dining experience. In terms of value for money, Cafe Sydney leans towards the pricier side. While I understand that the stunning location comes at a premium, I expected the food and service to match the high prices. Unfortunately, the underwhelming experience left me feeling like I may have overpaid for what I received. In conclusion, Cafe Sydney offers a magnificent view and an impressive location, making it a desirable spot for special occasions or to impress visitors. However, the dining experience itself falls short in terms of flavor, service, and overall value for money. If you prioritize stunning views over exceptional food, Cafe Sydney might still be worth a visit, but be prepared for a less-than-stellar culinary experience."

"Food was great, views are fantastic. Unfortunately the ambience wasn't as good as it should be due to some construction going on, on a neighbouring building (not the restaurants fault). Our semilia was great and very knowledgeable (American gentleman). Our waitress however was blunt and not very enthusiastic, we had to ask for my partners meal to be checked on as there was a bit of time before it came out, while my meal was already being eaten. Seafood platter was amazing, highly recommend."
