"I tried to use this service. Booked a taxi whilst waiting at Glenfield Station. Booking accepted at 10:13. Messaged at 10:25 stating that no taxi available. Have a competitors number. Now I know who to contact in the first instance."
"Never use this company. I booked a maxi cab in the morning to go to Sydney International airport. 30min before received a confirmation, then 15min before a text saying no available cars! Unreliable Go with 13 Cabs instead…. They arrived in under 10min."
"I was catching an intercity xpt train early on Easter Monday morning so I booked a cab to Hornsby station. I received a text 15 mins before it was due to arrive saying it “will be arriving soon”. Four minutes later I received a text saying they didn’t have a car in my area and I should try phoning another taxi company!!! The reason I pre-booked (the day before!) was so there would be a car in my area coming to provide the service I requested!!! I will never use RSL cabs again!! (I would give zero stars if it was an option!)"
"I will never use RSL taxi service again. It almost charged me twice compared to DiDi, it has a taximeter, the driver went to the wrong direction and did not stopped the taximeter till I mentioned. Then it turned it on before we get back to the correct direction."
"I was in a RSL Taxi at Hurstville forest road taxi rank. Wednesday 8th March. I hesitated to get into this cab as I recognised this cab driver in the past. He ripped me off by pressing the metre to up the price of charging me. I mentioned something to him but let it go that time. He puts his jacket over the driver’s seat so you don’t see what he is doing with the metre. This time I sat in the middle of the back seat to watch him. He kept looking through the review mirror to see if I was looking. I could tell what he was trying to do. I pretended to look down and the metre price at that point was $14.30, then he pressed the metre and jumped up to $17.50. I was furious and told the cab driver that I caught him and told him that we are all in struggles and what he did was illegal. He stopped the metre at $17.50 and continued driving. I only pay $18-$19 for my trips and let him know that I catch cabs all the time. I also mentioned that he needs to get his thick jacket off his seat cause his scamming customers. I am sick and tired of taxi drivers scamming customers. No more cabs for me, I am definitely sticking with Uber drivers. So disgusted with taxi drivers like him. If I could add pictures I would, however there isn’t any option for that. Taxi drivers number - FN8074 Number plate-T2930"
