"Great food, albeit a little pricey. The BBQ honey pork is so delicious..... I would have given 5 stars except the waiter said to me: "I'm sorry, we don't serve soft drinks to anybody who is over 18" when I asked for a coke zero, then he immediately walked away..... About 5 minutes later, he came back with a coke zero..... He was clearly joking, but he said it completely seriously, and I thought he was being genuinely, especially since he walked away. Maybe he thought he was being funny, but I didn't appreciate it. Everything else was great though, all other experiences with the servers were amazing. Food was top notch, just expensive."
"We had visited the sister restaurant to this over at Southgate and had a very pleasant experience, so expectations were high. This location had not been open very long when we visited and while some of the staff seemed a little inexperienced, they were very pleasant and enthusiastic. The food was as lovely as we remembered, a great variety, brought around quickly on trolleys. A la carte ordering of regular menu items was available but the yum cha varieties are too good to pass up. Price wise this restaurant is on par with other very good restaurants of this type in Melbourne. Highly recommend"
"Me and my family spent our CNY eve dinner here this year, as last year we had it in Southgate. This branch is relatively new, which is 14 months since the opening. This branch is not as spacious and has got no view. However, the food quality is the same. This place is less formal, and more suitable for those with smaller number of people. The staff were helpful and work super efficiently from taking order till packed our takeaway. As for the price, we spent $291 for three people for 4 dishes including scallop, abalone, and sea cucumber. Yes, they are considered luxurious dish in Chinese food. I guess it is quite decent as it was on an event with surcharge price."
"The food was very nice. I think though it was far surpassed by the staff. They were attentive, friendly and conscientious. Every time a glass was empty, it was filled every time plates needed to be removed they were. More that that, the staff genuinely engaged with us making us feel extremely welcome, even though we only arrived in Melbourne, for the first time, earlier in the afternoon. You can't go wrong here. We had Banquet C for two and highly recommend it."
"the food was amazing! Me, my mum and my brother each thought the food was great. The staff that served us dinner were friendly and it really felt like an amazing dining experience. The small cookies we got served at the end tasted like something Grandma would make you as a treat. The entree we had was delicious too. It was a bit pricey, but I didn't pay so I can't really say much about that. Thank you so much for the amazing time. (I am the young person that said I would make a review, Thanks for the dinner) (and Ignore my name)"
