"I know 5 stars can be considered a lot but this place deserves it. First off, I grew up eating home-cooked Indian food (from family friends) and going to a place called little India back in the states growing up. I have so long yearned for flavorful Indian food after many good Indian food places unfortunately closed around my area back home. Luckily, this place fulfilled my cravings! The currys were very delicious and spicy - had enough heat but did not cover up the complex layers of spices. My only one critique was the chicken tanadori appetizer was a little dry but again that seasoning! Divine! Service was great and attentive. I really liked how they waited to bring out your main course until you were done with your appetizer. Nice crisp beer too! Would definitely come here again next time I am in Melbourne."

Having said that, I do feel there are a lot of fake reviews on here from people who just rate it 5*, have only a handful of reviews and whose accounts are private."

"This used to be my regular and I looked forward to returning with a group. From the initial phone booking where the person couldn't repeat the 4 letters in my name, I was noticing some differences. On the day, I arrived on time and was seated with my group a couple of minutes behind. Menus were given and time given for a drinks decisions was provided. I ordered a Solo and repeated it to the waitress, only to be given a soda water. It was then replaced with a solo after pointing it out in the menu. Then we were seemingly forgotten, the waitress didn't return and as we sat with closed menus, a waiter walked past and started to collect the menus. After reaching for my menu, I asked if we could hold on to it, to place our order. They were all put back out again..... That same waiter then returned a few minutes later to take our order without issue. We ordered entrees and mains each. My entree of Samosas arrived, then 5 minutes, 10 minutes and still no entrees for the rest of the party. We followed up and another 10 minutes later, their entrees arrived. I then asked for mine to be reheated. I also asked for our mains to be prepared and brought out ASAP as we'd already been there 50 minutes by now. Mains were promptly served on the same plates as our entrees but I'd given up at this point. Countless visits over the years and 2 years since my last and I won't be returning unfortunately."
