At our clinic, we prioritize early detection and prevention of skin cancer, as it can be a life-saving measure. Remember, you're never too young to get skin cancer, so regular check-ups are crucial.

In addition to skin cancer care, we offer a range of medical services. Our practice boasts Specialist GPs who are qualified and trained to administer cosmetic injectables and perform various cosmetic treatments. Whether you're seeking cosmetic injectables, acne laser treatment, or the popular China Doll Facial, our Specialist GPs can provide lasting results and help you unlock radiant beauty.

We understand that healthcare can be costly, which is why we offer mixed billing. However, please note that our fees will be changing on April 1, 2023. You can find a full breakdown of our fees at our reception desk.

We value your time and the needs of all our patients, which is why we have a cancellation policy in place. If you cancel within two hours of your scheduled appointment or fail to attend, a non-attendance fee of $40.00 will apply. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter.

To ensure efficient service, we encourage patients to make bookings online whenever possible. However, we will always strive to accommodate walk-ins when feasible. Our standard appointments are 10 minutes long, but certain services, such as pap smears, health assessments, or discussions of complex concerns, may require longer appointments.

At North Sydney Medical Centre and Skin Cancer Clinic, we prioritize patient privacy and confidentiality. Our practitioners adhere to the AMA code of Ethics, ensuring that your medical records and consultations are strictly confidential.

If you are a new patient, we kindly request a face-to-face consultation with one of our GPs. However, if you have visited our practice within the past twelve months, you can book a telehealth consultation online.

For pathology tests, a referral from your GP is necessary. Please remember to bring your referral when visiting the pathology collection center. Additionally, work cover patients will be treated the same as regular patients, but it's important to notify your employer before your first consultation to obtain a claim number.

If you require a specialist referral, please schedule an appointment with one of our GPs, who will guide you through the process. Specialist referrals cannot be backdated, so it's essential to discuss any charges directly with your specialist.

Our communication policy ensures that we receive and return telephone calls and electronic communications promptly. Please note that emails are primarily for administrative purposes, and we do not disclose personal information or use email for appointment bookings or cancellations.

We may occasionally reach out to you via SMS or email to provide general information about our practice or health services. Rest assured that any generic email communication will only include your name and email address, with no further information stored.
