Reviews
"Nice and cosy restaurant Not too loud music in background I dont eat raw fish/oyster so cannot give any review on that. Foccia is nice and fluffy come with carrot butter, beetroot butter and olive oil. Beetroot butter has seasalt on top and became everyone fav in our table. Mediterranean Spaghetti was great. I love it the most from all marinara pasta style in mel so far. (I guess their bisque really shine on)"
"The food was good, the duck was cooked perfectly but with a slightly too sweet sauce, the lasagne was one of the best I’ve had, the salad was flavourful. Cocktails were very good, impressive wine list but some of the wine on the list needs another decade. The restaurant’s decor is a little underwhelming, menu is adventurous with its fusion approach but that shouldn’t deter you. Overall good"
"We came here on my friend's strong recommendation and because she got a discount via The Fork. We knew this was a place for taste experiences, not overwhelming quantities, and anticipated accordingly. The Kingfish Cerviche was light and fresh, pairing well with thinly sliced cucumbers. The flounder fillet was cooked to perfection, so soft and tender it disintegrated on touch. The duck breast was still pink and a little juicy, complemented by a flavoursome gravy. We finished with Vienna's Sacher Torte, witch was rich and decadent. Staff were super attentive and friendly throughout the visit. The place was half empty mid-week, so it lacked atmosphere. Overall, a really good dinner to enjoy some European flavours."
"Perfection! Attentive and kind wait staff, food cooked to perfection and a lovely ambience. This South Yarra restaurant hit all the marks. Lots of great options for food and an extensive drinks menu sure to please any wine lover. Food did take a while to come to the table, if I went back, I would try to order it all in one order to allow for shorter wait times. However, this allowed for more time for great conversation and to enjoy the vibes."
"Had a very good dinner here. The mains were excellent. The toothfish was nicely cooked, and the fermented bean curd emulsion had great depth of flavour. The eye fillet steak was also perfectly cooked (medium rare, as requested). The halloumi with honey, floral cabbage, spiced eggplant and sumac was unexpectedly good. Like, really good. Like, you *must* order it good. The desserts were also a fittingly good finish. The coffee waffle was like the elements of tiramisu recombined. The ricotta pudding had more bright berry flavours, and is good for those with a less sweet tooth. Staff were helpful and attentive. This is a good place for an occasion."
