"My husband, daughter (6-year old) and I had a wonderful first experience at Yoshi. Solid Japanese classics - teriyaki, katsu, gyoza. Am keen to try other dishes. Staff aimed to please - friendly and attentive. A cosy and welcoming restaurant in a good location. Has great potential to attract more customers if they revamped the joint. Good value for money. Will certainly return."

"Average at best… we have had two meals here. The first time the meal contained plastic… contacted them, they apologised, but put simply, not good enough. The second time we went, family of four (two adults and two children, 11yo and 9yo), only for them to get the order wrong, despite it being repeated three times. 10% surcharge for weekends and over priced meals, with absolutely no atmosphere. Sorry, but won’t be coming back to this place…"

"Best Japanese restaurant in South Yarra by far! The food never disappoints and the staff are super nice. Their takeaway food is also great so would definitely recommend ordering while we're all in lockdown! My housemates and I ordered a ton of sushi from them for a lockdown birthday and the presentation was amazing and all of the sushi was to die for. Would recommend this place to anyone."
