"We went to Kmart Merrylands today to return some items. When I went to service desk one female staff was there. She was very rude and totally giving me an attitude with very inappropriate language. The manager was watching us, then join the conversation. We were frustrated with the staff's attitude, but talking to manager was a nightmare. I would like to know if kmart has any staff training about customer service? Is it normal to hiss the customer when the customer's frustrated? Is it normal to say 'out!! I'm not serving you!!' to customer when customer's complaining? We were family of 3 with 5years old kid and pregnant mum. Was it really necessary to shout at customer 'out!!' when the 5years old boy was crying with fear, not even 'can you leave'. I think big company like kmart should put more effort to train staffs how to talk to customer with manner, or at least should locate someone who can handle the complaint situation as duty manager with more experience and proper customer service manner."

A special thank you to Jessica and her colleague Micheal for going above and beyond to help me find the product that best fit what I needed for my budgies to keep warm this winter. It's this level of customer service that would make anyone want to shop again at this store. I hope this feedback is shared with senior management for the great work these two are doing to create a memorable customer experience. Edit: upon reading other reviews for the Merrylands store I'm sorry to read of their experiences. I must have struck it really lucky to come across two highly competent staff members who also seemed to be in their 19-20s."
"It would be logical and less time consuming if you don’t have a product in stock just show as unavailable! I bought some items which at least half of them were not available! I added them in my basket and paid at checkout, got confirmation of my purchase and delivery details then next day received email saying these are not available we will adjust your payment! Isn't waste of time?"
