"Dinner is always enjoyable at Bistrot d'Orsay. Max is an asset to this establishment, with his friendly and attentive nature. Confit duck is highly recommended. Gnocchi and creme brulee were also very good."
"Delicious French food in an elegant setting - would have been better had the tables not sit so close to each other. Service was friendly."
"Amazing dinner experience probably one of the best in Melbourne! The goat cheese soufflé was so yymmmmm. My duck leg was bravo! 5 stars to the service everyone made me feel so welcome especially the French young waiter, he has done an amazing job during the dinner, very sweet to me and my friend. Food was yummy def will come back!"
"Had a great night here with great goods, excellent service and nice ambiance. I walked past the place many times and always smelt the soup came out of their kitchen. When I mentioned it to my client who has a business nearby, he decided to take me here. The foods were fantastic and the bouillabaisse was the highlight. 3 of us had it and we also ordered the eye fillet steak which was juicy and flavourful. Our entree calamari was super soft. Very well done. The service by Simon and the rest of the staff were superb too. Very attentive, humorous, and friendly. Will definitely come back in the future."
"Wow what can I say? It was perfect from start to finish. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted immediately and brought to our table. The manager put us by the window as I mentioned it was my partner birthday, a very nice touch! The menu options gave you the sense of being in France and not Melbourne, the food with authentic and of a very high quality and presentation. Our waiter was fantastic, always topping our glasses and offering drinks. Our entrees came almost immediately and were of a large volume which was a pleasant surprise. I had the gnocchi and my partner the barramundi, both were excellent. If you want to experience French cuisine in Melbourne, this is the place to go."
