Patsy's Melbourne

"The food here is yummy and it’s great to see a vegan/vego place in the city. I do personally think the prices are a little bit steep in comparison to some other vegan/vego restaurants around Melbourne. I love the philosophy of bringing the food back to basics (no mock meat etc.) but do think I was expecting some more creativity to a degree. However, I’m extremely spoilt when it comes to great vegan options. The restaurant has a great selection of beverages on the menu, including cocktails that one of the waitresses was more than happy to help with. The stand out to me was the chickpea dish, the lentil pie and the focaccia - all three dishes I’d recommend! The potatoes with pomelo was a little different and wasn’t my personal fave especially for the price. I came here for my birthday, and to be completely honest, disappointingly the most memorable thing was the first waitress my partner and I encountered. Unfortunately, not the warmest greeting for whatever reason but maybe it was a bad night for her. Other than the one girl (who warmed up a little eventually), the rest of the team were fantastic and super helpful. The venue has a great ambience and cosy feel! Definitely pop in and try it for yourself :)"

"Vegetarians rejoice! I came to Patsy's with pretty decent to high expectations and was blown away by the wine selection, the service, friendliness, and knowledge of the staff, and last but not least, the amazing food that was on offer. There wasn't a single thing we ordered that we didn't love (I think the shallot tarte tatin was favorite of the night). The only thing I could maybe critique was the wording of the menu since I felt like I had to google every third word (which probably speaks more to my own ignorance than anything else) In any case, would highly recommend and return!"

"Service at Patsy's was some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The ambience was great, and so was the wine selection. Food wise, I was a bit disappointed. Overall, it felt like the meals were oily and too salty, which is a shame considering the amazing textures that each meal provided. "A rather unique vegetarian restaurant with an extensive range of drink options. The vibe and service by staff were fantastic. Their courtyard is beautiful and so are the interior decor, cutleries, plates, tables etc., I can really see they paid much attention to details. I've ordered a 3 course meal banquet and overall I am satisfied. However, I think the dishes were more on the bland side and there was no 'it' factor considering the price tags There is definitely a room for improvement, and hence a 4 star rating for food."

"We stopped in that way past to grab a drink, ended up staying for an hour and a half. We already had dinner plans, but enjoyed some cocktails, wine, and snacks. The menu for food looks amazing and will definitely be back! In particular enjoyed the house, Negroni, and can recommend the washroom and cheese. Enjoy!"
