"Just saw a matinee performance of &juliet here in Melbourne.. The Regent is still my favourite theatre… Stunning renovation..comfortable seats etc. The show. Brilliant production, particularly the set design, costumes, dance numbers and cast. Brilliant, brilliant cast. All of them… But my concern was the unnecessary swear words and some of the ‘over tones’ of the story. Believe me I’m far beyond a prude.There were a lot of very young children in the audience. These factors just made a few of us uncomfortable. I simply didn’t see the necessity in such a clever story. Nevertheless fantastic to see live theatre back in Melbourne!"

"We took our 12-year-old daughter to the show, and while there was some profanity, overall, it was a good show. The actors were fantastic, and the storyline was engaging. Despite the language, we found the show to be quite entertaining and thought-provoking. Our daughter also enjoyed it and even talked about some of the themes afterward.
