"Stayed here recently 12/2022 and enjoyed my overall experience. I value my privacy and that’s what this lodge provides by not being in your face 24/7. Yes place will probably fall down one day but structurally it was once a stunning mansion, what’s left of it is all almost original once you have a proper look. If you like Potts point history research this mansion."

"when we arrived they charged us $ 150 AUD apart from the $ 171 we paid for the 2 day stay, the person who answered us at check-in told us that the money would be returned at the time we checked out, which never happened . After a few hours we called the hostel and the person who answered us on the phone had a horrible attitude saying that we are lying and that we are talking nonsense, he spoke to us in a very aggressive way, when we were simply asking for clarification regarding the money back. never stay in this place for more economic, the staff is horrible"

"Do not stay here!! Zero stars!! Disgustingly uclean. No sheet or towel change the whole week we were there. We had to make our own beds because "cleaning staff" did not do this. "Cleaner" also failed to remove rubbish from the room. The carpets are dirty and there is mould throughout the bathroom. The cutlery was plastic and some of the bowls, cups and saucers were cracked. The beds are in desperate need of WD40 as they creak loudly with any movement. The ceiling lights in the room and bathroom were not working and the switchs were covered with a sign explaining there was an issue with wiring...extremely dangerous for our 2 and 5 yr old children!! In lieu of the broken ceiling lights, the room and bathroom offered alternative lighting in the form of daggy old room lamps without lamp shades...again dangerous to children should they touch the bulbs! Sadly, the hotel staff did nothing to make up for the poor condition of the room. The receptionist was never around and was extremely rude and unhelpful when we were able to locate her. Do not stay here!! Zero stars!!"

"Hotel is very run down, there was cracks and mould through the bathroom. The lights in the room were not working due to 'maintenance' and we were confronted with a desk lamp on the bathroom window sill and another on a table in the room with no warning of this before arrival despite receptionist having knowledge that we were travelling with small children. Receptionist presence is atrocious as I tried three seperate times to find someone with no luck. Room was no suitable for small children so we stayed elsewhere even after being charged full amount for room."

"DISGUSTING RUN DOWN HOTEL AND WIFI COSTS 5 DOLLARS (A DAY)! TOWELS ARE ONLY CHANGED TWICE A WEEK! As you enter the lobby an unpleasant smell hits your nose. The receptionist sits in a room that is the size of a toilet cubicle. The hallway is cracked and it has dim lighting. The place is neglected and the cleaning staff don't bother to clean the room properly. There is a thick layer of dust and there are stains on the walls. Never stay in this piece of S**T unless you are blind and can't smell anything. I don't trust the toilet and definitely recommend you get a vaccination before entering. They can't even afford a mattress protector. The cutlery is clearly not for eating with and the pages in the bible are all scribbled on. The hotel's price is NOT WORTH IT!"
