"The room is alright, but they need to work on proper rule explanations for the people staying there. It is so noisy at night even after the quite time. And when we called the reception some stupid drunk travelers were shouting that they won’t stop being loud. It could just be individual problems but the hostel need to inform the visitors properly and have strong authorities to stop people when other people complains."
"This hostel gave me bed bugs, with bites all over my back, arm and face. When I addressed the issue they gave me a private room for the night (which the next day came out with more bites - so also had bed bugs) AND still charged me for the stay despite giving me bed bugs. I had just travelled around southeast Asia and didn’t have any issues with bed bugs or hostels and yet in the cosmopolitan city of Sydney I got bed bugs here which clearly shows the hygiene at this hostel. The manager was very unsympathetic and I was very disappointed with my stay here. The only good thing about this hostel is that its in a good location that’s central everything."
"Beautiful hostel with free breakfast and free dinner three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday). The rooms are clean and tidy, just the mattresses are quite hard. Clean kitchen and bathrooms. Very friendly manager that is always there if you need anything! Pricing and location are perfect aswell! Would def come again."
"This place was nice but very messy, no one is throwing anything out from previous travellers so the rooms were full of old junk and the fridges with rotten old food. i read the label on the bag next to mike and it clearly read check out as over a month before I got there... very crammed place but still good vibes and good location. Prices the same as nomads sydney and I would defs recommend them more as far as space and cleanliness goes"
"It is a party hostel. In the courtyard which most rooms face people drink, listen to music on their Bluetooth speakers and scream around until 11pm during the week and 1am on the weekend - every day with no exceptions. Night managers are just young jobbing backpackers as well who don’t care. If you are an 18 year old party person, who wants to socialise this is the place for you. For anyone else I can’t recommend it. Only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 star is the good location and the fact it was rather clean."
