Arriving in Melbourne for the first time and using the very clear directions sent to us from Sal and Vinnie, we were greeted with a lovely tall cocktail as we entered our accommodation. Right from the start Sal and Vinnie were very attentive to our needs, greeted us warmly, answered all our questions, proved to be a wealth of knowledge of all things Melbourne, treated us to some very seasonal, fresh and tasty food for breakfast each morning and in short ensured that our weekend away was as stressful as they could make it. We had gone to Melbourne for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo which was great but the service and friendliness from Sal and Vinnie were outstanding and made our weekend all that much memorable. "This place is just beautiful. Unlike many hotels we've staying in in Melbourne, Fitzroy B & B is a warm and comfortable place to stay. The owners did whatever they could to cater for us and to make us feel at home. What I love is that it's in a quiet pocket of Fitzroy but it's still close to Brunswick Street, Lygon street and the city. We'll be back."
