Reviews
"A small, even tiny, room in a 12 room "hotel". More of a place to crash after a party (which is why I am here). It does the job, just."
"Tried to say here, however the key would not come out of their key box and they gave me a code for a spare (as there is no staff in their office). I told them I felt unsafe staying with the main key missing, and the owner called and actually no joke YELLED at me over the phone. Refused to issue a refund for the room I did not stay in as well. The most unprofessional experience I have ever had. The room was not clean either which the owner stated was “a separate issue”. Highly recommend not staying here. Spend your money elsewhere."
"First when I arrived no one was there to check us in, waited for 15 minutes then called to get told someone will be there to take us to our room in 5 mins. Lady that took us to our room didn't even speak English, the room was clean & tidy with all you need besides a rodent station in the corner. Downsides Noisy hotel, people going up steel stairs, doors shut hard without pressure to close slow, can pretty much hear everything during the night. Kitchenette was lock the whole 3 days I was staying there, so much for a help yourself kitchenette. Did not see 1 staff member besides the woman who let us in Positives Hot water, fridge, tea & coffee in cupboard, iron with no ironboard Windows opened & aircon worked Soap in bathrooms 2 toilet rolls Clean bathroom & bed linen 10 mins from Coles & your standard food restaurants 5 mins from trams"
"A friend and I stayed there for 3 nights, In our room one of the windows was broken (wouldn’t shut at all), The bed was uncomfortable, the aircon above the bed was leaking on to us we also found a pair of men’s thongs under the bed, There is also no parking (even though they advertised it) which was a hassle to find. We went to use the lift which was horrible and felt sketchy. Definitely won’t be staying there again and it is definitely not worth the price!"
"Stayed here for 4 nights and there were some positives. The room was simple yet nice, a bed, a bathroom and a table, all that's needed. There was a fridge, air con worked and the bed was quite comfy. However, there were a few questionable things. First off, my room was at the end of a tiny hall through a fire escape door with a flickering light. There was no hot water on taps and the kettle supplied didn't work. There was hot water in the shower though. There was no soap supplied for the shower either. When I arrived and throughout the duration of my trip, there was no reception on site providing no assistance if needed. I was given 1 roll of toilet paper and when I ran out, I had to walk 20 minutes to Coles to get more. The room was small for the price charged and it was slightly outdated. Location was good, with access to trams and a nice lake down the road. I do think however, it's not worth the price tag"
