"Did not even end up staying as it had an absolute pungent smell of asian food car park fits about 3 cars which they charge 5 pounds for plus they require 20 pounds deposit on your room they photo copy your ID in a tiny room from what I saw very shabby to say the least avoid this place ."
"I travelled over 3 hours from Wales with my family, while in the middle of our Christmas shopping we received a call to say that we can no longer stay in the hotel as there were some errors. We then when to the hotel to find out what the issue was where we were met with a very rude man who then told us that he will book us another hotel 10 miles away. After an hour and half of arguing with this rude man. We then had to bite the bullet and search for a hotel else where. Luckily we found an amazing hotel just around the corner on the seafront. I would recommended the Ryde view hotel to anyone who reads this post as you will not get a very good service at the horrible South Sea Inn."
"The only things I can recommend are the location and the bathroom (immaculate). As for everything else... Well a mess in general. Unfinished paint job on walls, ceiling, uneven carpeting, loss floorboards, no wardrobe or other clothing storage. And to top it off the the walls and floor are paper thin, you can hear everything, especially when one room had super loud party music playing at 5:00 am. Price to quality wise definitely not worth it."
"the worst room I've ever seen. It had no hot water, no heating. I can not remember a night as cold as the one I spent at this "hotel". the room was all dirty. It looked like it had not been cleaned in years. We hear all the noises coming from the other rooms and the road. Get away from this place. The florence suite hotel gives 10-0. Breakfast spectacular and only cost more 15 per night with breakfast included."
"Good location BUT. Walls are wsay too thin even for a hotel. I could heard receptionist talk to a manager (?) About guests who are likely to fail to arrive on time. Amd it was almost 11 and i was trying to sleep before an important conference. Ok. When it became quiet I was woken up by bloody shower curtain fell down without any bloody reason for that!!! Wallpapers where torn, in the sink there where some papers, cable, and sticky tape... I can't even say the price was good...it was ..fine, but not for that place. Also I have never seen toilet sit that low (even for me, 5 feet tall). Soap isnt in tiny bottles, so not sure if it is a good idea to use it after all previous guests... And guys, if you run the hotel legally, it may be useful to put any sign, even tiny, that this is a hotel. I had to compare Google maps image to real site just to be sure I ring the hotel door, not someones house. Not good. I don't like to write negative feedbacks but you deserve. But staff was nice though, not roof as someone wrote before."
