"Terrible. My room stunk. Heating did not work. No hot water for a shower. Got a free breakfast but I had driven most of the day so just took it. Could not have another room because they were fully booked. Told the company I work for to never stay there. Would probably not stay at a travelodge again to be honest. Stick to Premier Inn I think. Really horrible room."

"Don't want to make this into a moaning session. When arriving service was very poor. Staff complaining about their job, slow to even acknowledge I was waiting to check in. Rooms are not clean, bathroom not clean, grease marks on the walls etc etc. Considering this is a new hotel it looks like it needs a refurb already. The only good point is that the location is fairly good. Advice, get a Premier Inn instead"

"Although this hotel seems fairly new. It really isn't great. Both lifts are broken and by the notes on them have one has been broken for quite some time. The heating/aircon doesn't work in at least two of our 4 rooms because of lack of maintenance. Worst part there is a nightclub opposite, which starts at 22:00 and goes to early."

"Stayed the 3 nights, didn't use the cafe or bar. Room was clean and tidy. Easy to access the town, and railway. Room was quiet facing Victoria Park. Parking a bit hit and miss even though paid for, but you are warned it is a first come first serve basis."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the room was clean and the view over the gardens looking at the Spinnaker was incredible, especially at sunset, it was lovely and clean and modern and the room had air conditioning which was a nice addition, such a good location for accessing the city centre and the Dockyard, the only issue was the small car park which meant we didn’t have a space but we were recommended a car park around the corner which is locked overnight and the same rate that it would’ve been to park in the hotel car park anyway. The all you can eat breakfast was lovely, with good options for everyone, the bed was also super cosy and comfy - we couldn’t have really asked for anymore especially for the price."
