"I have to write this because I would want to know if it was my dog. I was in Maxi Zoo Ashbourne yesterday (18/3/23 at 2.45pm) myself and my sister were admiring the small, little black/brown doggy being washed through the window when all of a sudden the female groomer full force slapped the little dog across the face. The dog was not wriggling, fussing or posing any threat nor harm to the woman.. we had been watching a few minutes. I alerted the staff and they were in shock. I have also posted it on the Maxi Zoo Facebook page. I’ll be following up during the week to see what actions/measures are being taken. This little dog has no voice and is unable to tell it’s owners it’s being hurt or is scared to go back. I’m just worried what else this individual might do to the dogs when no one is watching. Please share this because I hope that the owner of the little dog sees this!!!"
