Reviews of Fota Wildlife Park
"Went late on Saturday evening, perfect time if you want it to be a bit quieter around the place. Always enjoy going, plenty to see. The glass viewing windows could do with a good clean or upgrading."
"Lucky to be blessed with a beautiful day. It was the most amazingly relaxed day we have had in a long time and would recommend it to anyone . There was 5 of us - 3 + 2 kids. A 4yr old & a 10yr old. We spent all day and will definitely return."
"kids enjoyed the experience . plenty of parking.. we hope if they had more animals.. and its bit tricky to see giraffes ... and zebras .. as the area is very large and with the one way system.. otherwise it's nice."
"This place is spread over many acres of land, and the animals in this wildfire park have really huge enclosures and they are very well maintained. The animals themselves are well fed, as there are certain times of the day when you can see the caretakers feed the animals. The park itself is huge, with loads of animals, and a lot of space to walk. You can easily spend the whole day at Fota. This place is located half an hour drive from cork city, but you can easily take the bus/train to reach there. Definitely worth a visit."
"It was lovely to see the Animals free in their enclosure, I wasn't able to go the whole way around, but I got half way around. Its was the Time for putting food into their houses while the animals were out side, they staff really feed them the best of fresh food and water. It wasn't an expensive day out. Only negative thing I would say and it's the only negative thing is, its the staff wasn't the friendliest .The shop is responsible cheep for the parents of the children or any souvenir. Overall an enjoyable Day out. Worth a visit"
