"Silverdoor is a useless middleman with no added value and on the contrary they will give you trouble. Don't book through them, go to the properties directly as they will be much more customer oriented. Just as an example of their utter incompetence, recently stayed in a property booked through Silverdoor, the property granted us late check-out without extra fee, confirmed several times by the hotel staff (not part of Silverdoor) who were super friendly. However about a week after checking out, Silverdoor chased us quite aggressively to pay for a late check-out fee that was never mentioned before. I then spoke to the hotel management directly, explained the situation and since the late check-out fee was never mentioned by their staff, they agreed to refund us the fee as a commercial gesture to apologize for the confusion. So I ended up paying Silverdoor this ridiculous fee, that was right after refunded by the hotel. Good thing the hotel actually knows how to handle customer service unlike Silverdoor!"
