"If you look below you will see that I originally left a 5⭐️ Review. I did this on the room before I checkout. We checked out and asked reception to book a taxi. After 5-10 minute a guy turns up in a hatchback, no taxi sign, no meter. I challenged him as not being a taxi but he flashed a badge he had around his neck. Couldnt read it because I did not have my glasses on. We got in anyway and asked what the price would be to London Bridge Station as it cost us £30 for same journey in a Black Cab on Sunday. £45 he said, I again queried as it was 50% more expensive than Sunday. He said the extra €15 was for collection. We got out of the Taxi and went back to the guy behind reception and asked his to order us a proper licensed metered taxi and he said they don’t book them ???? Very strange. We stepped outside the hotel and hailed a proper London Taxi and paid £22 Something fishy going on here. Don’t let them order a taxi for you ! Very disappointed at what was otherwise great experience Don’t order a cab through reception if you want to pay a proper metered journey. ORIGINAL REVIEW ‘Over from Dublin to see ABBA Voyage and the Holiday Inn is perfectly located. Spotless, modern hotel, lovely staff, great breakfast and fantastic value, at least compared to Dublin. Couldn’t be happier with our experience and will be recommending to family coming over later in the year to see ABBA.’ Peadar Mulligan"
"Great stay, clean, warm, comfortable rooms. Had slight issue with safe but staff were very quick to deal with it. Breakfast typical buffet but we found it nice. Only small issue is the buffet area is not large enough for the number of guests, so becomes very crowded at certain times. It does tell you though which times are the busiest. Staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, we will definitely use again."
"Wow what can I say, there is nothing I can fault about this hotel. Staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfort, you are greeted with a genuine smile each time. The rooms are spacious, comfy and clean and the complimentary breakfast was lovely and it was enough choice. Definitely stay here again"
"My friend and I stayed sat and Sunday the staff were amazing. There was this one guy doing double shifts still great service he was given but so was all staff. I am a staff member myself in southwest area. It was great location clean great food around. Will for sure stay again. Keep up the great work. There was also a guy only on day three he was great"
"We were going to see ABBA so this hotel was the closest. Friendly staff, good lounge area, Bar, TVs running quietly in the background. We were in room 112 and it was absolutely fine with ample room and a nice bathroom. The breakfasts were pretty good and so were the evening meals. Also just a 10-minute walk from Stratford station and the town centre. So very convenient."
