"Good service. Good food. Menu changes so always something new to try but remains reliably satisfying. Great wine list. Take your glasses though, low level mood lighting and very small print on the menu can lead to culinary surprises! Oh.. and if it says fully booked on the website. Email for a table. The website doesn't work."

"Great pub. Lovely decor. Very good food. Don't try to do too much. Good drinks. Wine list better than you'd expect. Service a bit slow maybe but fine - they have a lot of covers. Their steak night and Sunday roasts are great."

"Atmosphere/interior/bar all excellent. The food menu is creative and changes often which I like but the dishes aren't always executed well. Both the beef Sunday roast and the pork belly I've had over the last few months have been either undercooked or bland and lacking character. Only giving a 3/5 because it's an expensive pub that really can do much better."
