"Was really excited for a quick 1 night getaway with my mum, booked directly through the hotel website. Had to call 4 times to clarify information, as I didn’t get any form of confirmation. On arrival, saw an entrance with a wooden block holding the door, and through the windows it was obvious that it was undergoing construction. Obviously we’re shocked, so called them up again and they explained that the main entrance was around the corner. Not the best start. Then once we got to reception got a lovely greeting which was ruined when they asked me to pay even though I had pressed pay now on their website. The payment was done through my fathers card as it was his gift for us to get away. I did call ahead and check that the payment has gone through, and was told that yes everything was ready. Once we figured that out, they guided us to a room that was a 5 minute walk away via the street. When booking I saw that it said separate building but I didn’t think that they meant down the road. We had chosen the hotel specifically to use the spa facilities so requested a different room that would allow us to access the spa without having to go down the road in our robes. Had to pay extra, but at this point the mood was already ruined so didn’t care. On arrival to the room, room was big and nice but just the overall experience with service completely killed the mood. Would not come back."

"Staff very friendly and really helpful. Room was very cold. But immediate assistance was to hand and it was sorted out. The toilet and plug holes were grubby unfortunately. And the plug in the bath didn't work. Carpet in bedroom horribly stained. Breakfast plentiful and tasty. Bed very very nice. It was a pleasant enough stay."

"Absolutely fantastic stay. Service was impeccable. Room was spacious had every amenity including a kitchenette. And a bathtub! Breakfast was delicious with a vast choice of hot and cold foods to choose from. The hotel was astetically pleasing and very helpful staff. Would 100% recommend and come back for another stay."

"5 stars are not enough for this hotel! Simply WOW! First of all, the service, the rooms, the architecture, the decor, the location- everything was perfect! Second, the amenities in the room were amazing and the vibes were on point! Finally, for a 5-star hotel, this place really proved itself! During our 2-day stay, the hot water was not working and the hotel compensated us so well! They went above and beyond to ensure all guests were comfortable and taken care of! Highly recommended! Can't wait to go back!"

"Absolutely loved this hotel!! It’s a hidden gem but what a great location, great staff, really big room, amazing spa facilities and great breakfast. So worth it!! The only things I’d like to highlight is that the rooms got v hot, the AC didn’t work (same in all 4 rooms we had), a lot of the pillows were a little too hard, didn’t like the shower head - the way it releases water. Not sure how you can avoid wetting your hair as a woman or indeed properly washing it under that. But we did otherwise have a lovely time, it’s a very tasteful hotel!"
