"Thieves! I stayed at the hotel for two nights (Room105) 09/09/2022 - 11/09/2022. Once I arrived back in Germany I noticed that I forgot to pack one of my watches. After a short exchange of e mails I received the following message “ Dear Mr Zachery, I can confirm that we did find your watch in your room. If you wish to collect it, will we keep it safe for you until you are able to come. If you wish for us to post it to you, could you please send us your address. Then we will a get quote from our Finance Department for the postage costs and send this to you. If you need anything else please let us know. Kind Regards, Jeremy Bolton – Front Office Manager” I asked for my watch to be mailed to my address here in Germany and I was given a quote for the postage etc. along with the following instructions: “ Please let us know if you would still like us to post the item and we will send you a payment link where you can make payment. Once payment has been received we will post the item back to you.” I confirmed that I would still like got them to post the item and asked for the payment link. This was 23/09/2022 and until this day I have never received a payment link. This was also the last time I received any kind response from the hotel. The last time I tried to contact the hotel was 19/11/2022 asking if they decided to just keep the watch - which is what apparently has happened!"
"We stayed for 1 night . Hotel was adequate. Room was a decent size although small for a 4*. We felt it could do with a tidy up. Skirting was chipped. Hole in net curtain were just a couple of things we noticed without looking too hard. Breakfast wasn't included in our stay and at £19pp we weren't prepared to pay it. Our hotel was booked through a third party and I wouldn't of picked it personally. Too far out for us. Nothing in the vicinity. Train station is 5 min walk. Lots of steps to climb . Couldn't see a lift . I'm sure there must be one but as not needed didn't look . Being so far out meant atleast a 35 min journey into centre of London. Just a warning for those that like yo be in the heart of it all."
"I travel to London for work once or twice a year, and I almost always stay here. The staff is friendly. The location is close to Canary Wharf, but not in Canary Wharf. The rooms tend to the small side, and I would avoid if possible the first floor. On the first floor, the windows are up near the ceiling, and it feels like being in a Souterrain room. But overall, this hotel offers great value and I look forward to staying here again."
