"We booked a room for 2 adults and one child (7yo). We got a small room with one small double bed. No extra bed for our daughter. At arrival we were told that an extra bed had to be booked and paid separately. This is ridiculous. When I book a room for 3 I expect three sleeping places. When booking we were deprived of the real price. Very likely we would have booked a different hotel. Besides, there is no place for an extra bed in the room. The rooms are clean and modern. However, ceilings are very low ca. 2.30m, which makes the small room even more depressing. Even though we are located on the 5th floor there is a smell of cooking in the bathroom. There is no kitchen in the room, only a kettle & minibar fridge."
"If you want a great location close to everything this area is a good choice but not at this property. Problems with overcharge and had to ask front desk staff over and over again to rectify. Seemed uninterested in helping fix an error they made. Room was claustrophobic and the pictures definitely are shot to make them seem way bigger. I don't think they have any housekeeping staff as we got our own towels and emptied our own trash everyday. Will stay in area again but choose other hotel."
"My fiance and I were visiting London for the first time and this was an amazing location. 1. The rooms are fantastic. They have a fridge, stove top, and a microwave. It comes with dishes and a laundry machine on site 2. It's about a 20 minute train ride to all the major attractions in London. 3. The general area is very quite. If you are looking for an area with a lot of action, I would stay somewhere else. But it noise is a concern to you, this is the best location you can ask for. 4. Best thing if all is that the price was great. I booked for August, and it was comparably the best price I got from comparing to other locations. If you want to be in a busier area, then I would skip this location. But if space, quality of room, and price are a priority, have this place as a top pick."
"We booked a room for 3 people. When shown to the room there was only 1 bed (a double). Went to reception to ask for a bed for my child and was informed that if we want a third bed there will be a extra charge. I can’t understand how it is acceptable to book a room for 3 people with only beds for 2! The initial discussion with the receptionist didn’t last long. I asked to speak to the manager who advised me that this is a common problem when booked through a third party( Expedia in this case). I asked to see her booking details and she confirmed it was for 3 people and I showed her my confirmation which confirmed it was for 3 people and it stated nowhere that there was an extra charge. After a frustrating 10 minute conversation in reception she agreed to put in the extra bed. This was always going to be the resolution so I am not sure why the manager needed a ten minute conversation to resolve this. No people skills what so ever. Room is nice location is good. Poor attitude of the staff and perhaps poor working relationship with 3 party travel agents means the experience is poor. Would not stay again for that reason."
