"The single worst travel experience of my life! Beware of trick photography, close ups of fluffy towels, Bath robes, a touch of marble, a pretty wall scone. Yet, zero of the floor plan. My room (incl bath) measured 2.0m x 2.2mts. So, where was the bed? Apparently the 58 roomed hotel is the brain-child of a German billionaire. Yep, I get it! A few 'suites' seem to be the rooms shown on websites, but, in reality myself (and others) were devastated, arguing at Reception to get fair value for £135 a night, zero breakfast. The entire floor area to dress, walk around, unpack, store baggage, was 80cm x 1.2cm. Get the drift! I couldn't fit through the shower door, so just splashed around. I was solo, on business, so how on earth would it work with two in the 'Cozy' room, looking for romance? (like a game of Twister) Oh, and beware of the clever words as well - 'cozy'. I have 2 questions; with carbon monoxide laws nowadays, how did this place get Council and Health Dept approval? And is this the future of travel? Surely travel belongs to all of us, for all to enjoy. This hotel represents exploitation, with a twist of advertising cunning tossed in. A sham."
"Lovely boutique hotel in a great location with comfortable, pretty rooms. The staff were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We asked if they had any different pillows as one of us is allergic to feathers, and they asked what we would like instead and went straight out to buy some. Really impressive service and we will definitely be going back - thank you very much! I will be coming back again...."
"Nice cosy room. Bathroom was cleaned and bed was comfortable. Nice lobby with some sort of nice decor. The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our retreat most enjoyable. Definitely will come back to stay here again."
"Really fabulous little find. Loved the quirky mini room and how quiet it was. On the doorstep to everything we wanted. The staff were pleasant. The only reason I've given the service 4 stars is because we asked for a couple of pillows and the guy brought them without pillow cases and was surprised that I dared to request two pillow cases too."
"I stayed in one of the windowless basement rooms with a double bed. Yes, it is very small but it was quiet, clean, the housekeeping was attentive, and the price was appropriate given the location. Traveling solo, it worked just fine as a place to sleep and shower. The small space means you need to keep yourself organized. If you are someone who likes to spend time hanging out or relaxing in your hotel room then I suggest booking a different style of room or staying elsewhere. The overall hotel has a moody, dark, warm, and inviting feel. The staff were always pleasant."
