"Stayed here for a night in a Junior Suite. We got access to the Rock Royalty lounge for the duration of our stay which was fantastic. Complimentary drink (including alcoholic) and snacks to order. We were the only ones there so it was very quiet. The junior suite overlooks Hyde Park so we couldn't fault the location. You can request to have a record player in your room and bring up any vinyls from the lounge. The biggest downside for us was the café where we had dinner and breakfast. In the afternoon there was a drag show which was really good and you can have bottomless brunch. We also did the cocktail masterclass which I would recommend. For dinner, however, the restaurant was chaotic. We had to wait 40 minutes to get any food and when it arrived it was cold. It was quicker and easier for us to go back to the rock royalty lounge than wait for the waiter. It felt like no one really knew what they were doing and the service wasn't on par with the rock royalty lounge. Overall, however, I would recommend a stay. The hotel was clean and was full of music memorabilia. With a few improvements to the restaurant, the hotel would be perfect."
"A part of a weekend away package. The service was excellent, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, they even manage to squeeze us in for a meal on a busy Saturday. As expected full of rock memorabilia the hotel is worth a visit if you're not staying. Very close to Hyde Park, bonus for us as we sat on the grass listening to the Rolling Stones in concert. The only issue We had was the toilet was very close to the sink and a bit of a squeeze. Otherwise worth every penny."
"Hotel was nice. Unfortunately our superior twin room did not have a bath as described. The breakfast staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Only one free bottle of water per person per day. Could have been a but more. Room was adequate but nothing special for what I paid. Clearly you are paying more because of the name. It is somewhere my daughter always wanted to stay but now we have done it not sure I would stay again."
"i stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel for around 6 nights last year. The Hard Rock Hotel London is ideally located around the corner from Marble Arch station which is on the central line. This makes it an excellent hotel for tourists with it being next door to a major tube stop. Hyde park is literally across the road and it is situated in between Oxford Street and Edgware Road meaning it is near perfect to go out and shop and bring the shopping back to the hotel. The reception is glitzy and full of memorabilia to browse. We stayed in Superior King room, and for the price and location in London the room was excellent, with large windows providing lots of natural light, and was very large for such a centrally located hotel within London. We were greeted in the room with a lovely welcome board of chocolates and a landscape art of London. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. The negatives during our stay were, on one day the fire alarm went off with no warning whether it was a drill or not, while making our way down, confused, the fire alarm went off by itself. One a couple of the days the hot water did not work in the morning making it very difficult to wash and shower, to make up for this the hotel provided a complimentary drink at the bar. The breakfast spread was good, but vegetarian options were limited and got boring as they were not updated each day. Overall, for tourists, this is a relatively affordable place, in an excellent location, the hotel was spotless, and despite the few issues, I would recommend this hotel. The cleanliness combined with the fantastic location and price make the Hard Rock Hotel London a winner."
"We stayed for five nights for a family vacation, right after the passing of the Queen. The timing was coincidental, but the hotel was excellent for our purposes. The room was clean and spacious, and housekeeping did a fantastic job. One of the most meaningful times of our day ended up, unexpectedly, being breakfast. Our breakfast was included in our room rates, and the food was always spot on (particularly the eggs and the mushrooms. Wish I knew the secret to making them that way). Most importantly, was one of the waitstaff; Laura is a jewel. She truly made us feel like family, and seeing her joyful face every day became a highlight of our trip. She was kind and went beyond the call of her service. My kids are asking when we can go back to London…to see Laura. She truly elevated our experience to an even higher level, and I couldn’t be more impressed with her. Laura, if you see this, thank you, and the hard rock hotel is lucky to have you! We can’t wait for a return trip."
