"Very noisy outside, no kettle, shower doors not working, towel rail fell off the wall, window jammed open (only a bit) on freezing night. We fixed everything ourselves. No breakfast served No complaints about the staff. We only saw one person at a time at reception."

"Distinctly average experience at the OYO Townhouse Hotel, especially given its 3 star rating. I arrived to find the bathroom and overhead reading lights didn't work, the bedspread stained with what my imagination all too readily supplied, and the floor threshold transition broken. I hastily removed the bedspread, needless to say! Upon reporting the broken lights to reception, the guy on the desk wrote it down in the log book, but clearly there were no light bulbs to hand. Hopefully they're replaced now! On leaving the next day, I mentioned the lights again to the duty manager, but he merely proceeded to draw my attention to the one light in the room that did actually work, seemingly a miracle at this stage. The whole place seemed to smack of a lack of maintenance, the walls could do with a coat of paint and basic furnishings repaired. Given the huge number of hotels nearby, I wouldn't stay here again."

"Beds were very comfortable slept very well. Shower was very small. There was no handle on the inside of the shower to get out. There wasn’t answer soap either in the shower. Process was very easy checking in and out!"

"Pros: Beds were comfy. Convenient location. Cons: Poor standards of cleaning. (photo attached) bathrooms, shower vents and around toilets are particularly dirty. Was waiting at reception for 10-15 minutes before anyone arrived to check me in. Staff member was not all that welcoming. Lifts were broken. Overall not massively impressed, won't be recommending it or asking my employer to book me here again."

"The room is very small. On the first day they only came to change the pillows but on upcoming days bedsheets were not changed. Power outlets had usb charging spots but they did not work! Upon requesting help from reception, they told they will come next day to fix but in the evening it was still not looked at. Additionally, in the room there was a hotel service book stating that for 5pounds it is possible to rent an power adapter but upon requesting it in reception, they said that they don’t have it and that we should visit some store in the morning to buy it ourselves! Which makes no sense as the hotel is offering this adapter in the booklet!Very poor service. The only redeeming quality was the location of the hotel."
