Georgian House Hotel 35 - 39 Saint George's Drive, London SW1V 4DG

"The location of this hotel is perfect. Walking distance to the Underground and Bus stops in all directions. The front desk person was very nice. We had breakfast every morning downstairs at the hotel and was great, the waiters and waitresses were super nice. Our room (number 4) had a few issues, kind of small, the shower door kept falling out of its railing. The fan in the shower was super loud and probably needs to be replaced. Other than that I’d recommend this place."

"Warning: The Bait and Switch scheme was used on me at this hotel. Their website showed two beds in the room, this was important for me, and I booked the room. From my perspective, the images on the website make this hotel look much better than it is. Upon arrival, they tried to give me a room that was completely different from the room I had reserved. The room was tiny, had one bed and one small window and barely enough room to put your luggage down. It looked nothing like the image of the room I booked on the Georgian Court Hotel website. I told them it was unacceptable, and the manager became defensive. The manager told me it was my fault because I should have contacted them to let them know that I wanted the two beds. I already communicated this to them by selecting the room on their website with two beds. We started to check in around 6 PM. They could not correct the issue because they did not have staff that could reconfigure the beds or clean the rooms. They offered to give us a tiny second room for no charge, but we did not want to stay in separate rooms. After a long wait, we ended up in a better room that looked more like the image on their website, but still, it only had one bed. Please also note that there is no elevator and many stairs, and it is a four or five-story hotel. Therefore if you are close to the top, get ready for a workout."

"This was the best hotel stay I could have imagined for the London leg of our journey! The place was so conveniently located, right by Victoria station and a near twenty minute walk from Westminister Abbey! The room itself was darling, the perfect place to recover with tea and coffee after long nights on the town. Plus the staff went above and beyond, providing the sweetest handwritten note and cupcakes when we mentioned it was our honeymoon. Plus, the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Next time I’m in London, there’s no doubt in my mind where I am staying. Can’t wait to come to the Georgian House again!"

"Georgian House was exactly what I was looking for! A small, clean, up-to-date room in a great location for a reasonable price. Everything was well decorated and efficient, hot shower, comfortable bed, intuitive storage, easy check-in. Very close to Victoria Underground + Rail Stations, walking distance to many areas of London I wanted to see. I had a wonderful stay!"

"It’s in a great location a 10 minute walk from Victoria station. It’s in a quiet residential area with a small high street about a 5 minute walk away. The staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible with nothing too small or big to ask. The room was a good size with a lovely bathroom. The toiletries are spa-like quality and very nice too. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, along with a very useful Nespresso machine. The hotel itself is lovely and tastefully decorated. You can leave your bags here after check in to collect at your discretion- a nice added bonus. The only things I would recommend would be AC in the rooms (I understand the difficulties with this though) and have reception a bit easier to find. Thanks again for a lovely stay!"
