Amhurst Hotel

"A weird experience, the down part was the area, a lot of houses were abandoned on that street so it created a feeling of unsafety. Also the fact that somebody stayed 3 days out of the total 5 next to my door (even at night, during the day I was visiting) was very weird and uncomfortable to me. The shared bathroom was a little too far, from my point of view, I had to pass 2 doors, the dinning room, a hallway and a flat of stairs. I had the room in front of the outside smoking area and the cigarettes smell was very strong in my room. The only good part was that it was very,; very clean. I wouldnt recommend it and I will definitely wont go again."

"I booked for 2 nights in this hotel to visit old housemates. I had to leave after the first night as the bed was CRAWLING with bed bugs. They were all over me and all over the bed when I checked. I had to come home and wash all my belongings and am still paranoid about having brought them into my home. I am DISGUSTED that a place can allow this and put people in this position. Not worth it at all. Spend the extra money to get a clean, non infested hotel. If I could give 0 stars I would the experience made me feel sick."

"Lovely place to stay. Not too far from the underground, Piccadilly line. Bus stop 2 minute walk. We had the ensuite chalet at the back of the garden and found it very comfortable and quiet. There was a television but we didn't switch it on. There was also a microwave and kettle. Geoff met us at the door and showed us around told us of the local amenities etc. Great bloke. Came to London for a concert and an exhibition. Will definitely stay again."

"Room was clean, bed was comfy and clean, bathroom small and clean! All these fulfilled our need! Covered the cheap price we paid for especially we weren't in London to stay in the room! We spent a lot of time in the garden while at hotel! This fact made our stay great! Safe neighborhood, within 30 min to main attractions in London and close to transportations! We would love to have a night desk with a night lamp rather than a TV that we never started!"

"Lovely place, we stayed in a little cabin at the bottom of the garden. It was cosy, quiet and the beds were pretty comfy. Geoff's a lovely bloke and was always there if we needed anything. Its cheap and close to the train station and shops. Lilly the cat is most friendly cat. 5* we had a great time, definitely stay again."
