"I've been here about 5 times in the last 6 weeks. So I think I can give a pretty good impression. The food, delicious. The ambiance and decor, lovely. The staff, efficient and genuinely nice and helpful. Well , until my last visit. The only reason I have given less than 5 stars is so that the management team understands how easily a very loyal customer could be turned off by the abrupt and rude service of one host...one that I have just encountered for the first time, fortunately. Consistency is the key to any establishment's survival, and with restaurants closing in this location, quite regularly, I hope that the attitude that I encountered today doesn't persist and sink the ship for what is otherwise a absolutely brilliant establishment."

"Went there for breakfast and had the French toast and buttermilk hot cake.. They looked great and tasted great. The earl grey was also quite good.. Pretty good service too.. Got me a lemon and honey for my eagle grey! Would definitely want to go back and try out lunch menus !"

"Had a fabulous dinner at Oak and Poppy. Food was delicious, especially the fish tacos - the best I've had! Atmosphere was relaxed and informal, yet very buzzy. Loved the interior. The staff were friendly and attentive. After seeing the breakfast menu, will be back for the sweetcorn and courgette fritters with avocado and poached egg...hoping the sun will be out and the retractable glass roof will be open. Would highly recommend this new addition to Hampstead."
