"Unfortunately unrecognisable after the renovation. The English flair has been removed. Rooms are without minibar and safe. The rooms are very noisy. Breakfast not available in the building. We liked the hotel better before 2019."

"Stayed only 1 night for work. Suited that purpose, however the single room was no bigger than a janitor's closet and cost over £200 the night. There were so many led lights in the room that an eye mask was necessary."

"Interesting one and why I feel compelled to write a review. The hotel has recently been refurbished so many of the poor reviews are no longer relevant. For £120 a night (in advance) I had a fantastic double room. Only thing of note was that I had to hold the shower tap because no holder has been installed. Other than that, the location, decor and professionalism of the staff is excellent and means I’ll visit again while on business"
