These ships now provide a safe anchorage spot for recreational boat owners on the eastern side of Moreton Bay. Over the years, coral has started to form in and around the wrecks, creating a haven for over 100 species of fish. If you're lucky, you may even spot dolphins, wobbegongs, and dugongs while exploring the area. A total of 15 vessels were sunk, with five in 1963, five in the 1970s, and another five in the 1980s.
