“This Premier Inn is probably the nicest one we have stayed in, we have used many for work and leisure, the staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are well kept, parking right outside the door, great location for travelling.”

“We stayed at the Redwing in Shirley. We received a very friendly welcome from the reception staff, and the hotel was perfectly located with free parking to our needs. The room rate was excellent, comfy bed, exceptionally clean room and shower room. We were concerned that we may hear the traffic, but it was quiet and peaceful.”

“I found the place to be excellent, the bed was comfortable, although I could smell cigarettes through the bed sheets because I can’t lay my head on big fluffy pillows, however it’s a really nice room to chill out in, the shower was great, the gym was good, the swimming pool was great and I loved the steam room, parking was free. Not to mention I was able to watch the football on a big screen downstairs with a Starbucks coffee in hand(World Cup 3rd place was on). Their was even some live singing in the bar and he was very good, shout out to him every rendition he did he smashed.”

“Absolutely brilliant customer service by Kay at the front desk throughout our stay. I have not experienced such great customer service at any other hotel before. Kay acknowledged my IHG Elite status straightaway. The rooms we booked were not available due to someone extending their stay and Kay dealt with it appropriately. The rooms are recently refurbished and are relatively in excellent condition except the shower water pressure. The swimming pool, sauna steam are in dire need of a refurb (although the changing rooms/showers have been refurbished and the rainfall shower is amazing), but nevertheless my review is 5 stars because the pool wasn’t the main reason we chose this property and it’s better than not having the facilities.”

“Don't let the outside deceive you! We have a deluxe suite here as we came away for an event. The staff were super friendly for the start and made check in quick and easy. The room was very nice although there was no fan or air conditioning but the staff later brought us a fan on request. Later on we decided to order food to the hotel where the hotel staff also worked to get us some cutlery. Overall would definitely recommend nothing seemed to much to ask and I will return.”

“Had to come down from Manchester to see a veterinary specialist round the corner from here, so just really needed a dog friendly place to sleep. What a lovely place this is. The dog was allowed in the bar area and we had a Sunday roast, absolutely fabulous. I had forgot that Yorkshire puddings were meant to taste like that. The rooms were lovely and I got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely, everything you could want The Brassiere is so opulent, if I was local I would definitely be in there alot Looks like they have got some good Christmas events coming up as well, Gladly I don’t have to come back to that part of the world as my dog is better. But if I did I would definitely by staying here again at this little gem The staff were all friendly and couldn’t do enough So glad I hadn’t picked a big chain hotel”

“Very pleasant Mothers day lunch. Quite and relaxing. We did not stay the night so cannot comment on the rooms. Good service and handy location for us. Very expensive but nice treat now and again.”

“Lovely calm chalet stay off the beaten track, owners were kind and helpful. Comfy beds and great shower.. very zen place to visit and stay. Do bring food and drinks as was reading mixed reviews of breakfast provided.. but it was lovely and would recommend a stay here.. thanks for a lovely time.. beautiful place”

“Met my friends for afternoon tea and it was lovely. Plenty of food in fact we couldn’t finish it all! The tea was replenished frequently and the scones were lovely and warm. For the price it was very good value. Very nice and friendly staff.”

“The staff were all brilliant. We stayed at the hotel to attend a family party. Ryan was really helpful with the food, and even with teaching the macarana! The receptionist was patient with loud drunk guests losing handbags and the bar staff were friendly, efficient and fun. Thank you for a lovely evening”

“Dropped in for a quick pint yesterday. Lovely clean beer garden, families eating outside. In working clothes and staff couldn't be more helpful and polite. We were shown to a table and orders taken all within 2 minutes. Great service and staff made sure we were ok for drinks. We definitely go again”

“This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and once again, I was made to feel immensely welcome. I was greeted by a very bubbly and helpful receptionist Rachel, who checked me. I was then guided to my room where I was greeted with a large room with a very comfy Superking size bed. I dropped my bags in the room and headed to the bar / restaurant. The food and service was fantastic and I was well looked after. This was mainly down to Steven behind the bar and who couldn't do enough to help you. Very lovely relaxed friendly vibe in the Bar area. I look forward to staying again when I am next in the area.”
