“We were a group of six, we all had great a time. Fantastic food and service; I recommend the lamb and cod. Unfortunately, not a good selection of beers and no non-alcoholic ones. It was very noisy, maybe consider some soft furnishing/drapes. Will go again.”

“Where to begin. We were recommended this restaurant and my gosh we will definitely be going back. The food was amazing! I had the beef wellington and my husband the lamb and it was delicious 10/10. “We hired the barn at bell broughton for our evening reception after eloping in greece. Cameron (hope I spelt it right) was fantastic. Helped us get everything ready and set up. Sarah had left and we was a little worried regarding our booking but he was fab Our guests loved the venue and the food! Perfect for a celebration! Excited to come back and explore the menu too! “Booked a table here on 12 December for 16 people restaurant was very clean and well presented. Excellent and varied Choice on the menu, the food and service was excellent. we all meet annually for a curry , most restaurant's are tested serving so many, but not Maliks, they took it all in their stride no mistakes and all meals delivered together great service great food.”

“The village of Clent always delivers for me. Such great memories as a child and still today. The French Hen is one of those Inns that's not a prescribed 'formula' pub. Great character and lovely staff. Highly recommended.”

“In our opinion the best Indian takeaway in the area and also the best value for money. Have been regulars for a number of years now and sadly not operating at the moment due to a refurbishment. A helpful guy who answered the phone recommended Spice of Lye which was 'ok' just not the same. Hopefully it will be back open again soon.”

“Great food! Good quality of food served and made fresh. Spice levels are always spot on when requesting and tastes amazing with a generous amount of Peri fries given too. Although on the pricier side of takeaways I believe this is overall good if you are trying to eat tasteful food and will be satisfied with the money spent.”

“Usually only breakfast at these and beefeater whilst staying at a premier inn, but decided to show my folks what the experience is like. It was super busy but food was kept topped up very well for a almost full Saturday morning. Food is extremely good for the money and the choice is great. Staff were very pleasent to and a great atmosphere in the place with good parking to boot.”

“It would be so easy to just walk past Mr Souvlaki's but we are so glad we didn't. Food was incredible. We had the grilled platter to share (see photo). Food was freshly cooked, delicious and great value too. We received such a friendly welcome and service was lovely throughout. “Lovely tucked-away café with under-cover outdoor seating. Popular with cyclists during our visit. Quite busy at lunch on a Sunday and had to wait a couple of minutes for a table to clear. Great food including some nice vegan options. Good prices as well and fast, friendly staff. Would recommend.”

“Small, cosy old school pub with a massive selection of beer & cider on tap to choice from. Well stocked bar also carries wide array of cool spirits as well. Atmosphere is pretty chill and there is nice background music too. Lot of character to this place. Service was pretty fast even when I last visited on a recent Friday night. Staff seem pretty sound. Very reasonable prices too.”
