“Our cat spent a week here. Well looked after and Leanne the owner makes sure that they are kept well fed and clean. Also there a wee cat run so they can get a bit of exercise and variety in their day.”

“Excellent doggie daycare! My dog goes 3/4 times a week and loves it, it’s great for socialisation. Fantastic facilities and superb staff who provide updates via social media. Decent pet shop with quality local products. 100% would recommend!”

“Had a family meal on Saturday Night passed 1st of April 2023. We hadn't booked (7of us) and we were taken into the bar area as it was extremely busy. We had to wait but it wasn't too long and the food was well worth it.”

“My husband booked it for a birthday treat & they gave us an upgrade which was really kind. Whole stay was amazing, all staff were really lovely. From the lady who checked us in, Gary at the spa bar, the staff in Hunters restaurant, everyone went out of their way to make our stay special. The spa is beautiful, rooms perfect with massive bed & fancy Bluetooth speaker & the Dyson hairdryer. The food was incredible, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each meal was really tasty. Loved the clay mud experience too. Only down side was having to leave - highly recommend.”

“A home from home. We chose this cottage cos it was in the middle of nowhere..just as we wanted! But it is just a 7 minute drive to Belfast Int'l Airport & 10 mins drive away to the shopping area. Having a rented car is a must to drive around Northern Ireland. Our room was big, comfy & overlooking a huge lawn / garden. We had everything we needed in the room including thick bathrobes. Not even a 5 star hotel provides bathrobes for free use! Wardrobes were big enough for storage. There are even proper coat hangers! Not the annoying, almost unremovable ones as in the fancy hotels! The tastefully decorated bathroom was spacious, bright & airy...having ample storage space...adequate toileteries, plenty of thick towels & an energising shower / bath. Breakfast was varied, abundant & lovingly prepared. The hosts, Stanley & Yvonne did everything to welcome us in their warm home. This place is highly recommended for families, couples or even singles, either as a short break or for a week just like we did. This house ticks all the right options! A big well done.”

“First time boarder with Carla and I have to say, it's been an absolute pleasure to get to know her and the kennels. Our GSP loved it and with photos of him playing with his room mates from Carla, we knew we made the right decision. We'll definitely be back. I'm not sure our dog wanted to leave when we picked him up!”

“Jackie and Rudd were most hospitable and accomodating. Nothing was too much. The rooms were so comfortable, a decent size for my daughter and I. It was fully stocked with an array of complimentary teas, coffees and biscuits along with a fridge of drinks and snacks at very reasonable prices. The room and the bathroom was immaculate, I have never stayed anywhere so clean, it was supberb! (I can be a little picky at times, but I found no issues here) The view over the lake and of the animals was fantastic. The breakfast had a very reasonable selection, we choose different items and were more than pleased with the quality and quantity. This was made even better by the homemade jams and eggs raised by their own chickens. Parking and access were faultless. Needless to say, when we return, we will be staying here again, as I cannot recommend it enough. It was honestly my pleasure to stay here.”

“Beautiful old building, had a tour of the bed and breakfast property and the owner gave my group a talk on the previous owners and famous guests. Blue plaque to the longest reigning Lord Mayor in the UK and the man who created the minutes silence. Great hosts.”

“Had a fantastic time here. The hotel in general seems to be getting a makeover and looks fantastic. We stayed on the first floor which hasn't been upgraded yet. Something that I normally find irritating when I stay away is the lack of power sockets / USB charging next to the bed. I am hoping this will be upgraded with the refit. Pool was lovely and warm it was nice having the sauna and steam room there too. There is a lack of private changing if that's something that bothers you in both male and female changing rooms however they are well kitted out with individual shows and plenty of hot water! Breakfast was good / tasty! The current (temporary) room that is being used is a little small with food serving tables all around the room but the new room although not fully finished looks really nice. Will have to come back in six months! The only minor criticism was the noise of the floor cleaning machine that was being pushed around about 10pm on Friday night in the lobby bar. You're trying to relax and talk to friends and it was quite loud. Couldn't this be done during the day after check -out time when there's hardly anybody around? Overall, would definitely recommend and intend to book again in the future!”

“We stayed here in 2018 the night before an early flight. We had such a lovely time. Primrose was so welcoming and we felt right at home. The room was beautifully decorated in a traditional old farmhouse style. Shared bathroom that was also beautifully decorated. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area”
