Good sized room and bed with nice clean crisp linen. Also a big thank you to Dimitri and Ameal for looking after us in the restaurant. We will be back”

“My husband and I couldn't be happier with the service Andrea provided. Our 10 month old British Shorthair kitten Pablo stayed at Andrea's luxury cat hotel for two weeks and he really enjoyed himself! We were anxious about leaving him as he has never stayed away from home before but Andrea's professional and caring approach made us feel much happier about the situation. It was also hugely reassuring to have daily Facebook updates about Pablo's stay; Andrea posted some lovely pictures of him enjoying himself! The suites are all very clean, warm, spacious and full of toys for the cats to play with. Andrea also provided a drinking fountain and the specific brand of food that Pablo enjoys. Andrea was very flexible and she was more than happy to make alternative arrangements for us in taking Pablo home as we arrived back from our holiday a little earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend this service to all cat owners and we will be making arrangements for Pablo to stay again soon! Thank you so much Andrea!”

“I had a sofa with many general stains that had built up over the years. On top of this I had a beautiful large rug that needed some TLC. From the minute I contacted this business, Nick responded quickly and efficiently to my queries. He worked with me to find a suitable date and kept in regular contact right up until the minute he arrived. The results of the cleaning are way above anything I expected, my sofa and rug look like new again. I cannot recommend Nick and his company highly enough. Before you try anywhere else ring Gofresh Direct!!”

“Spectacularly thought out! The lodges are well placed so you almost feel like you’re on your own. It’s very peaceful and quiet. The views are stunning, stargazing I would highly recommend and the farm walk is brilliant. Everything has been thought of in the lodges, which mine (the Hideaway) was absolutely gorgeous. There’s a torch, umbrella, throws, tea towel, cleaning products, toilet roll etc which you absolutely don’t get when you stay with the corporation places. There’s a games room with essential items and an honesty box. The garden view is stunning with expensive art. I will never book anywhere in the Uk now other than here for a stunning, inexpensive, Uk break. Thank you for making my Christmas perfect Deb”

“The food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond and were especially helpful with my elderly mother. The lady serving the meat personally assisted her by dishing up her veg and gravy as she walks with a stick. I do feel there should be a bigger plate option rather than the regular size as the plates are quite small and other diners were in agreement. We especially liked the Xmas decorations as they were a nice touch.”

“Very nice relaxing stay, rooms high standard and clean and quiet. My only complaint is that it was incredibly hot in the room and the windows only opened a fraction. It's also a great location being only a few minutes walk from city centre bars and restaurants.”

“Here for all the wrong reasons, to attend a funeral. Nevertheless, the hotel was very much to hand for the day's events and both the room and service were up to standard. The breakfast in the morning was very much appreciated and there was certainly a good selection for all palates. The staff were always on hand and very friendly and attentive. If I had to be picky the shower wasn't very powerful, but the water was sufficiently hot and that's all it need be. Based on Nottingham University campus, no doubt very handy for visiting academics and families.”

They've perfected that luxury coziness, I was here for work but the room had me feeling like I was on my honeymoon!! The breakfast is gorgeous and the staff are lovely. I literally felt like a million bucks, I'm in love with this place & will never stay anywhere else.”

“Excellent hotel, visited for a work conference. Lovely food although the restaurant is expensive, good conference facilities. Very warm in one of the meeting rooms and also the bedrooms were quite warm despite turning the heating off and air con on. Management were very friendly and attentive. Would stay here again.”

The staff were very friendly Food was excellent, the wife had the carvery, Brilliant, very tasty, I had Hunters chicken & chips, best i've had, Cask ales as well, who could ask for more? We had a great stay and would definitely come again, if only for the food.”

“Christmas Day Lunch This was the second time we came for Christmas Day Lunch with family and comes highly recommend. The setting is beautiful with lovely decorations and atmosphere. “Great place, only had a single room which was small, but adequate and clean with tea/coffee . Breakfast was included and was of a high standard as was the Gym facilities which was the main reason for the stay. Negatives: banging door (reception)? Strong smell of cigarettes on landing at top of stairs. Room 2009.”

“Really good experience with this cattery, easy to book and the owner was very friendly and showed a genuine interest in all her guests welfare. They had covid safe procedures for checking in and out and my cat seemed happy and healthy when I picked her up again. We will definitely be back again!”

“Really great experience overall. The room was nice and clean and the service of the staff was excellent. One thing I want to point out though was that there was an air vent in my room (412) that was making a bit of noise throughout the night, it wasn't too bad however without the noise of the air vent it would have been dead silent in my room and I would have liked that. I'll still rate this hotel a 5 star though as everything else about staying here was top notch.”

There are a few buildings that contains the rooms and a main building where the reception is. There's a button in each building to contact reception if needed. Overall, very quiet hotel.”
