"Oscar is in business to deny benefits and pocket your money. They are the ultimate 'profits over patients' non-provider. If you want frustration and high out-of-pocket medical expenses that will not count against your deductible because they won't permit it... Oscar is the plan for you."
"Don't buy this insurance! We have unpaid bills (yearly physical examination that is covered) while the insurance policy is active. The doctor's office sent bills many times and we even talked to 2 representatives in the office promising to fix it but STILL bills aren't paid for more than a year. Beware!"
"Probably the worst medical insurance know to God and man. They do not follow their own rules and guidelines making up more along the way to dodge medical coverage accross the board. Medical procedures doctor visits once covered and paid routinely find their way back into "reprocessing" to then denied for lame excuses: "No medical chart on patient" or "incorrect coding for procedure by doctors office or hospital". Some these could years in the past while no longer even insured by Oscar. Literally scam insurance."
"LIARS! Oscar contracted with an out of network doctor and facility OF THEIR CHOOSING for a special cancer surgery. They now refuse to pay the bills and are trying to stick me with over $3000 worth of charges. I’ve been fighting for a year and Oscar refuses to honor their commitment. I paid my part the day of surgery - now I’m forced to file additional complaints with state and federal agencies to keep from being sued. WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER! AVOID AT ALL COST."
"Under no circumstances do you want this insurance. Don't do it. Also, for their pvirtual primary care, they have 7 (SEVEN) providers for the ENTIRE STATE. Not sure how people will get care. I was very excited for this insurance, and have regretted every day of it. I'm not convinced they are even insurance. I'm pretty sure it's a scam. Can't speak to anyone who can actually help. They'll sell you one plan and give you another and blame it on a "website glitch." Seriously. I've reported to BBB, Healthcare Marketplace, etc. and am pursuing with AZ board."
