"I was visiting my son for the weekend and went to the 9am mass. Immediately after kneeling down to pray before mass, I was approached by a man telling me that this was a Latin Mass and handed me a bulletin showing me the dress code. I am a devout Catholic, and never dress immodestly in or out of church. I was told that I could stand in the back of church. I have never felt so ostracized and “othered” in my entire life. I have a great devotion to the Eucharist and to think that I was forbidden to receive Jesus in your Church was incomprehensible. Were the apostle at the Last Supper dressed in their finest? Did Jesus ever not associate with someone because of what they wore? I came to mass wearing a high. Eco loose fitting tank top and a skirt that was 1-2 inches above my knee. To me, it matters most what is in one’s heart than on their bodies. I had this thought as I raced to the closest Catholic Church, that I hope I would not get in a car accident and die after being deprived of receiving Jesus. Don’t think you can begin to judge so wine’s reverence based clothing. It saddens me to think that is your focus and not on a someone’s love of the Lord and the Eucharist."

"Thie church is SSPV, NOT in union with Rome. Just because the sign says Catholic, does not mean Sacraments are 100% licit That being said, they were really friendly and the church was beautiful. The windows were gorgeous, the sanctuary was tastefully, albeit plenteously, decorated."
