I had no idea what all I needed to do.I had to make arrangements for my dad and he helped through every step of the way. My family has several relatives in Oak Hill for their resting place. Their grounds are really taken care of and beautiful flowers everywhere. Thank you again for making a hard time in my life a little easier."

The catalyst for this visit was a thought-provoking conversation with my coworkers centered around the tragic life and untimely demise of Otto Warmbier. His unfortunate passing after a fateful trip to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, commonly known as North Korea, had sparked a collective curiosity among us. Intrigued by the desire to pay our respects, we decided to journey to his final resting place within the confines of Oak Hill Cemetery. Upon our arrival at approximately 1 pm, we were met with a somber stillness that enveloped the cemetery. The sun beat down, casting an intense heat that contrasted with the tranquility of the surroundings. Our presence seemed to be the only disruption in this serene space, save for a couple who were attending to a grave with tender care and devotion. With no designated parking lot available, I found a spot on the side of a gravel road that meandered further into the heart of the cemetery. We ventured deeper into the cemetery's expanse, our goal to locate Otto Warmbier's final resting place. Our journey on foot was relatively smooth, the terrain mostly level with minimal elevation changes. The road beneath us was a mix of gravel and asphalt; the recent onslaught of heavy winds had left its mark in the form of fallen branches and uprooted trees scattered about. Our search eventually led us to our destination: Otto Warmbier's grave, situated near a small lake nestled within the heart of the cemetery. The view that unfolded before us was nothing short of majestic, marred only by the presence of an unkempt walkway encircling the serene lake. Unfortunately, goose droppings were littered throughout the pathway, some of them dried and hardened, indicating a lack of recent cleaning. Despite this oversight, we paused to pay our respects to the young countryman who had met an unjust and tragic end. Standing there by his graveside, we offered a silent prayer, hoping that he would finally find the peace that had eluded him during his tumultuous life. Overall, Oak Hill Cemetery presents itself as a place of solace and reflection, offering a space to honor the departed. However, the maintenance of the premises could use improvement."

"They need to change flower policy, This policy makes the whole cemetery look deserted!!! If our family keeps flowers looking nice, Why does the cemetery workers go and remove them? Such A poorly ran cemetery!!! The groundskeepers cannot even pick up broken limbs from the trees!!! Piss Poor Job..."
